Community Service Programs & Volunteers

To our families, communities and the sick, we pledge our unwavering devotion to your quality of life.

Volunteers Needed
Working together for the compassion and social justice of our communities, we can make a difference. We must focus on the individual, each person's needs and beliefs are unique and beautiful. By helping one person at a time, we will make a difference. The sick and dying need their meds, companionship, help with chores and shopping. Such simple things, that we can easily volunteer our time to provide FREE of CHARGE to the people of Maine who desperately need it.

But we need your help too. One basic fact of life is that we all get sick, we all eventually die. We don't need to live in fear that we will be alone. We can build a supportive community and ensure a better tomorrow.  The government will never give us everything we need which is why it is so important that we stand together.

The quality of a persons life can only be judged by the person living it. What small and simple tasks, that light up a persons day, that grant a small break from the pain, that help a person sleep knowing they are safe, that there is someone who cares that is watching.

Please, contact us to join our list of community volunteers. We have many ways in which you can help. Money is only a tool , people are the magic of miracles.

  1. Companions - Sit with ill patients and spend some quality time. Play games, read, talk or just watch a movie. Patients sometimes feel defeated by their sickness and just need friends to spend a little time with. A smile and good spirits are essential to healing.
  2. Petition Signature Collectors - Help us get federal protection.
  3. Write Letters to the Editor, Governor, City Hall in support of the Temple. Write to anyone that will listen. If we continue to passively allow the government to violate our rights, then we don't deserve to have rights. Voice your opinions, it matters!
  4. Volunteer for Chores - Seriously ill patients often may be homebound. They need our help getting groceries, getting utilities paid, light travel, maybe something as simple as just washing a few dishes or cooking a nice meal. It's the little things that matter.
  5. Community Cleanup - Help pickup waste and debris from local community areas. By keeping our neighborhoods clean, we also help keep them safe. Pollution is killing our beloved planet and only through action will we continue survive and thrive.
  6. Fundraising - Money is just a tool. But when placed in the hands of a farmer, that tool becomes an effective weapon for growing food and combating world hunger. We need financial support in order to achieve our goals and create a better tomorrow. By placing money (as a tool) in our hands, that tool helps forge weapons for hope, for justice, for peace of mind and for compassion.
  7. We need volunteer Doctors and Lawyers to help us too! Bring forth your knowledge and help us shape a better future. If you really want to do some good, if your ready to be a part of community effort for change, join us. Your voices are stronger, louder and can easily help. It's not about winning, it about what we will lose if we don't. There is no reason medical cannabis can't be free of charge to patients who qualify under Maine Medical Marijuana Law.

Protect Religious Freedom! We ask that even if you disagree with us that you stand beside us, united by our uncommon differences, to work peacefully for religious freedom.
